It runs really nicely but had some surface corrosion which has been cleaned off - but not polished - and show how it should for its age.

J W Young Gildex Multiplying ReelManufactured by J W Young of Redditch, this Gildex (unbadged) is their multiplier for freshwater lure fishing. It has twin handles for balance, optional check and a drag lever adjacent to the handle. It also has a level wind facility for smooth line lay on the spool to extend the casting distance. The tip of the check switch has been chipped but it doesn't affect the operation.
