Folding Landing Net

This is an unusual landing net in as much as the net rim consists of two strips of flat steel when in the collapsed position, making it 24" long as shown in the "closed" photograph.  It is opened by clipping the top end together after opening the net.

The handle attachment is made from machined brass with a trigger which allows it to fold.  It is a design that I haven't seen before and may appeal to the lover of curios.

There is no name on the net, and it has a few more holes than was intended in the net
