In common with the other members of the distinctive white Mitchell multiplier range, this reel has the best features including star drag, optional check and free spool facility.  The end housings of this model are reinforced with metal bands.  This is a really nice little reel which would fit into the collection or would still be a very good reel to use.  Like most of the Mitchell reels of the period, they were just about indestructable.
